Red Filter Conversion LUT + Lightroom Preset
If you want to try shooting digital with a red filter, here's a quick way to get started.
Includes:
- 17 Point Cube LUT
- 33 Point Cube LUT
- 65 Point Cube LUT
- Davinci Resolve Powergrade
- Lightroom Preset for Stills
The powergrade is super straightforward - it's just 4 nodes. You can adjust your exposure with the HDR node, and your contrast with, you guessed it. The CONT node.
If you want to add grain/tones and vibes, you can easily switch them on inside the LOOK node.
This is designed to work with any LOG footage - I shoot video on Sony, so by default it'll be for SLog3.Cine, but if you shoot a different flavour, you just need to change the CST in Davinci - it will probably look great anyway since we're not seeing colours, which makes things a whole load simpler.
For stills, as long as you're shooting RAW files (or DNG or NEF or whatever) it'll work fine.
This is a digital product, delivered as a .ZIP archive file.
